Manila Condo Steal! 2BR, Wi-Fi, FREE Parking! ✨: My Messy, Honest, and Slightly Chaotic Review
Alright, buckle up buttercups, because I just survived (and mostly enjoyed) a stay at the "Manila Condo Steal!" 2BR, Wi-Fi, FREE Parking! ✨ And let me tell you, it's a bit of a rollercoaster, like a Manila traffic jam on a Monday morning. But hey, who doesn't love a bit of chaos, right? Especially when it comes with a free parking spot in this city – that's practically a diamond!
First Impressions & the Hunt for the Holy Grail: Accessibility & Parking (Yes, I'm Starting Here!)
Okay, let's be real, the accessibility situation could be better. The website said "Facilities for disabled guests," but I didn't see a ton of obvious accommodations. The elevator was thankfully present, so that's a win. But navigating the actual building seemed a bit…challenging if mobility is an issue. This is definitely something to double-check if you need it.
And the parking! Oh my god, the FREE parking. It's a freaking miracle, especially in Manila. The car park [on-site] was a bit tight, and navigating it felt like a video game – trying to squeeze your car into a tiny spot while dodging other vehicles. But hey, it's FREE, and I survived. That's all that matters. There's even a mention of a Car power charging station which is a great bonus, if you're fancy like that.
Cleanliness & Safety: Did I Survive The Germ Wars?
Right, so, cleanliness and safety, this is where the property actually scored some serious points. I’m a bit of a germaphobe, especially these days. I was genuinely impressed. They really seem to be on top of this. Anti-viral cleaning products, Daily disinfection in common areas, and the mention of rooms sanitized between stays gave me some peace of mind. Plus, the Staff trained in safety protocol made the whole thing feel more secure. I saw evidence of them using Sterilizing equipment and Hand sanitizer was EVERYWHERE. The Hygiene certification probably helps too.
I even heard that they offer Room sanitization opt-out available which is a great option, but I'd recommend taking it… just in case. There were CCTV in common areas and CCTV outside property, Security [24-hour], so I felt reasonably safe. First aid kit and a Doctor/nurse on call were listed too, which is good to know.
I even spotted Individually-wrapped food options – a small detail, but still nice. I also appreciated that they had Safe dining setup and Sanitized kitchen and tableware items. I am a happy camper indeed.
My Room: Comfort, Chaos, and a Killer View (Maybe?)
My room (one of the Non-smoking rooms, thankfully) was… fine. Let's go with "comfortably functional." It had Air conditioning (a must-have in Manila!), a Desk to work on (thank god for that), and a Coffee/tea maker. Complimentary tea was also provided – a nice touch. The Internet access – wireless, and it being Wi-Fi [free] made me happy, allowing me to Instagram my entire trip. I didn't bother with the Internet access – LAN, which is probably a good thing since I am quite bad with computers.
The Additional toilet was nice to have. I didn't use the Bathtub, but it was Separate shower/bathtub, so that's good if you like to soak. Bathrobes and Slippers were provided, which are always appreciated. And I definitely used the Refrigerator for my snacks and drinks. I also found Free bottled water in my room - thank the Lord!
The view… well, it could have been killer, but my room was probably on the low floor. High floor is a good option if you can get it. The Window that opens, was a bonus, and the Blackout curtains worked like a charm. So, I'm not complaining. I also appreciated the Alarm clock – gotta wake up eventually, right?
Dining, Drinking & Snacking: Food, Glorious Food (and Maybe a Beer or Two)
Alright, this is where I was a little disappointed. The Restaurants weren't as plentiful, and the options were a bit limited. There was a Coffee shop, and a Bar, which is a good start, but I was hoping for a wider variety. A la carte in restaurant options were available, which is good.
I did see some Desserts in restaurant and Asian cuisine in restaurant, but I didn’t have time to try it all. They had a Poolside bar, which is always a plus (especially with the Manila heat!). Breakfast [buffet] and Breakfast service were mentioned but the Breakfast in room and Breakfast takeaway service sounded great to me.
I’m not sure that Vegetarian restaurant option was available though. Maybe next time!
Things To Do & Ways to Relax: Pamper Me Please!
Okay, so they’ve got a Swimming pool [outdoor] and a Pool with view, and I'm thinking that this is great. I didn't actually go swimming, but it looked inviting. But the Fitness center was there for the gym-rats among you. Which is not me!
I’d really loved they could have a Spa - I need that Body scrub, Body wrap, Foot bath and Massage ASAP! Spa/sauna and Steamroom would have been nice.
Services & Conveniences: The Little Things That Matter
They had a decent array of Services and conveniences. The Air conditioning in public area was a godsend in the Manila heat. Cash withdrawal was available and a Convenience store on-site. Daily housekeeping was efficient. The Concierge was helpful. There was a Dry cleaning, Laundry service, and Ironing service; important, even for a messy traveler like myself.
The doorman and elevator makes it feel luxurious. Luggage storage was also very helpful for those early check-ins and late check-outs.
Business, Events & the Kiddos (if you're into that sort of thing)
Business facilities were listed: Audio-visual equipment for special events, Meeting/banquet facilities, Meetings, Meeting stationery, Projector/LED display, Seminars, Wi-Fi for special events, and even Xerox/fax in business center.
For families there was some Babysitting service and Kids facilities, so that's good news for my friends!
Getting Around: Getting Out Alive
Airport transfer is a must-have (traffic is a nightmare!). They had Taxi service and Valet parking too, so you'll be fine. They had Bicycle parking but I didn't spot any Car power charging station.
The Verdict: Manila Condo Steal! Yay or Nay?
Overall, "Manila Condo Steal!" falls into the "worth it" category. It's not perfect, but it's a comfortable, clean, and safe base for exploring Manila. The free parking is a massive win, and the safety protocols made me feel secure. It’s not luxurious, but it's very decent. If you're looking for a no-frills, reasonably priced condo with some good perks, this place is definitely worth checking out.
My Quirky Highlights:
- The free parking: Seriously, it's a godsend. Treasure it.
- The security protocols: The constant sanitizing made me feel like I was in a sci-fi movie… but in a good way.
- The staff: Friendly and helpful, even when dealing with my slightly chaotic self.
My "Meh" Moments:
- The dining options: Could be better.
- The views from my room: Not the best, but hey, you can't win 'em all.
- Wheelchair Accessibility: Could be better, I had to ask.
Final Score: 7.5/10 - Definitely recommend!

The Manila Mayhem Itinerary: A Soul-Crushing (But Ultimately Rewarding) Adventure
Day 1: Arrival & Sensory Overload (aka, surviving the airport)
- 8:00 AM (ish): Land in Manila. Oh god. The humidity hits you like a wet blanket soaked in exhaust fumes. It’s glorious, in a way. Immigration lines stretch into infinity. My brain starts to melt. Why did I think this was a good idea again? Let's just say I'm currently in a sweaty, existential crisis while waiting for my visa.
- 9:30 AM (maybe longer): Finally, through immigration! I'm pretty sure I aged a decade. Find the pre-booked airport transfer. Note to self: always, always pre-book a car. Taxis in Manila are a gamble I'm not willing to take after this experience. The driver, bless his heart, is probably tired because he's been driving all night.
- 11:00 AM: Arrive at our "Stylish 2BR Condo." Hopefully it's actually stylish and not some glorified closet. (Please, please, please let there be decent AC.) Check-in. The receptionist is charmingly vague, which is the Filipino way, I've been told.
- 11:30-1:00 PM: Condo inspection. Is the Wi-Fi working? Crucial. Is the AC blasting icy air? Another win. Is the kitchen stocked with anything more than a lonely teaspoon? We'll see. My travel partner is already complaining about the lack of complimentary coffee. We’re going to need coffee. And maybe a nap.
- 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Late lunch. Finding a decent, non-greasy meal near our condo is proving harder than I thought. We stumble into what looks like a "carinderia" - a local eatery. The menu is entirely in Tagalog and my rudimentary Filipino is a joke. We point at something that looks vaguely appealing. Fingers crossed.
- 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Naptime. We're defeated. We’re exhausted. We need sleep. The humidity, the airport, the confusing lunch…it's all too much. We crash hard.
- 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Explore the neighborhood. Maybe. If we have the energy. We might just stay in the condo and watch Netflix. Realistically, that's probably what will happen. Plus, I desperately need to find a convenience store for snacks. This trip is already shaping up to be a carb-loading extravaganza.
- 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Dinner hunt. Or takeaway. Or cereal. The possibilities are endless.
- 8:00 PM onward: Collapse in front of the TV. Hope to forget the horrors of the day.
Day 2: Old Manila & Overwhelming History (plus maybe a good cry)
- 9:00 AM: Wake up. Realize we're still in Manila.
- 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Breakfast (hopefully something more exciting than cereal). Fuel up for the day's history lesson!
- 11:00 AM: Jump in a Grab (the local ride-sharing service). The traffic is already legendary. We inch our way towards Intramuros. Brace yourselves.
- 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Intramuros. Holy crap. The walled city. So much history crammed into one place. We explore Fort Santiago (the thought of all the suffering that took place here makes me teary). We wander the cobblestone streets, trying not to be run over by a kalesa (horse-drawn carriage) or a rogue tricycle. Honestly, the sheer weight of history is, well, heavy. I find a quiet corner to try and catch my breath.
- 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM: San Agustin Church. Beautiful. Still, a church. Maybe a little too much history for one day. It's all hitting me hard, the weight of the past. We need something light, something fun.
- 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Escape the history. Head to a nearby cafe in Intramuros for iced coffee and a pastry, a bit of a pick-me-upper.
- 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Head back. More traffic. More honking. More existential dread.
- 8:00 PM: Dinner. Debrief. We recount all the things we saw, and then get into a surprisingly heated argument about whether or not the food was worth fighting over.
- 9:00 PM onward: Watch a trashy action movie and try to forget about the world.
Day 3: Markets, Malls & Maybe, Just Maybe, Some Actual Fun
- 9:00 AM: Sleep in! We deserve it.
- 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Get out of there, and go to the market. We delve into a local market. Sensory overload, part two. The smell of fish, the colors, the chaos. We buy some weird fruit we can't identify. My travel companion is gagging. I secretly love it.
- 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Lunch near the market, or we can go to a mall. We're not ready for the mall. It's overwhelming.
- 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM: Mall crawl. We have to face the mall eventually. It's a rite of passage, a Manila tradition. We navigate the air-conditioned jungle, dodging crowds and trying to find something, anything, that catches our eye. Overwhelmed by the sheer number of stores. We eventually have to buy something.
- 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Grab some delicious street food from a nearby vendor. My stomach is rebelling, but I can't resist. I eat something that looks vaguely like a fried egg roll because, well, YOLO.
- 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM: Dinner someplace that's not a mall.
- 8:00 PM onward: Relax in the condo. Maybe play cards. Maybe have a moment of peace.
Day 4: The Great Escape (or, leaving Manila)
- 9:00 AM: Pack. Slowly. Depressed at the thought of leaving, but also sort of relieved.
- 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM: Last-minute souvenir hunt. Because we haven't bought enough stuff yet.
- 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM: Grab a final, delicious, possibly-questionable lunch.
- 1:00 PM: Check out of the condo. Say goodbye to our temporary home.
- 2:00 PM: Airport transfer. Pray to the traffic gods for a smooth ride.
- 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM: Airport purgatory. Security lines, passport checks, and the increasingly depressing realization that we're leaving.
- 6:00 PM: Board the plane. Reflect on all the things we saw, the food we ate (and regretted), and the sheer, beautiful chaos of it all.
- 6:00 PM onward: Head home. Start planning our next adventure.
This is just a suggestion. The best part of travel is the unexpected. Embrace the mess, the confusion, and the joy of being utterly, delightfully lost. And most importantly: hydrate. Manila will dehydrate you faster than you can say "Salamat."

Manila Condo Steal! 2BR, Wi-Fi, FREE Parking! ✨: FAQs... or Rather, My Therapy Session About It
So, is this place ACTUALLY a "steal"?
Okay, let's be real. "Steal" is a subjective term, right? It depends what you're used to. Compared to… well, *anything* I've seen in Makati? Yeah, probably a bargain. I mean, I paid more for coffee last week (and it wasn’t even *good* coffee). But is it a *steal* that’ll change your life? Probably not. It's a comfortable, functional place. Think of it as... a slightly-too-cheap-but-still-decent pair of shoes. They won't make you run a marathon, but they'll get you to the local market without your feet exploding. And hey, free parking in Manila? That's practically gold dust. I almost wept when I found out.
What's the Wi-Fi situation like? Pray tell.
Ah, the dreaded Wi-Fi question. Look, it’s advertised as "Wi-Fi," which is technically true. But, and this is a big BUT (and my therapist says I need to stop using the word "but" so much - working on it!), it's Manila Wi-Fi. You're not getting fiber optic speeds. Think… dial-up, but slightly faster. Enough to check emails, browse Facebook (with a *lot* of patience), and maybe stream a low-res YouTube video if you're lucky and the gods of connectivity are smiling upon you. Zoom calls? Pray you have a strong connection with your deity of choice. I recently tried to join a work meeting and the entire call froze at the exact moment I was about to volunteer. Traumatic. I think it’s still a good deal though. The free parking makes up for it.
Is the 2BR "condo steal" actually… a place for *two* bedrooms?
Yep! Two bedrooms do exist. I was so skeptical. I thought, "Oh great, they'll be shoe boxes!" Nope, reasonably sized. One's a master with an ensuite (score!), the other’s good for… well, a guest, a second office (which is what I'm using it for), or a really, *really* spoiled houseplant. The only downside is the whole place is full of those tiny, annoying, plastic furniture covers. Like everything! The sofa, the chairs, even the throw pillows had plastic covers on! It was like living in a sterile dental office. I swear, I spent the first day meticulously removing them! It was strangely satisfying. (Maybe that's why I'm okay with the slow Wi-Fi. Too much time on my hands now that all the darn plastic is gone.)
What's the catch? Because there *has* to be one. Is the location sketchy?
The catch? Location, location, location! And yes, I should have mentioned it before. It's… *near* the action. Not *in* the heart of it. Think a five-minute tricycle ride to *a* major road. The neighborhood itself is… *colorful*. Let's just say it's authentic. You'll get to experience the "real" Manila, which involves stray dogs, the constant hum of karaoke (some of it surprisingly good!), and the occasional power outage. Is it unsafe? Probably not if you use common sense. But it's not the sanitized, perfectly polished city you see in the tourist brochures. It's… *real*. And sometimes, that's exactly what you need. I’ve seen worse, trust me. And I can park for FREE!
How's the FREE parking, REALLY? I'm desperate.
Oh, the parking. This is a major selling point for me, I'll be honest. Finding free parking in Manila is like finding a unicorn that sings in tune. It's legendary. The parking spot is… a spot. It might be tight. It might require some expert maneuvering. It *might* be next to a garbage can. (It is). But it's FREE. And that, my friends, is a beautiful thing. I actually had a near-religious experience the first time I pulled in and didn't have to pay some shady parking attendant an exorbitant fee. It was a moment of pure, unadulterated joy. Worth it. Totally worth it. I would gladly endure the slow Wi-Fi and the questionable plastic-covered furniture *just* for the parking.
Anything else I should know? Like, utilities? Are cockroaches your new roommates?
Utilities: Standard stuff. Electricity bill is… well, it *is* the Philippines. So, consider it a significant expense. Water pressure can be a little… *enthusiastic* sometimes. And yes, I've seen a roach or two. But nothing a good stomp and a healthy dose of insecticide can't handle. (That's my attitude, anyway.) Honestly, the biggest challenge? The noise. Manila is a noisy city. Prepare for a constant soundtrack of traffic, construction, and the enthusiastic (and often out-of-tune) karaoke. Earplugs are your friend. A strong sense of humor is your best ally. Oh, and definitely learn some Tagalog phrases! It'll make your life a *lot* easier. In short… it's a bit rough around the edges. But if you’re looking for a place to live, not just exist, it’s a pretty good choice. And the parking… did I mention the free parking?
Would you actually recommend this place? Be honest!
Okay, honest time. Would *I*? Yes. Absolutely. Because despite the wonky Wi-Fi, the *slightly* dodgy location, and the occasional cockroach guest, it's got a certain charm. It's real. It's affordable. And the free parking? That's the cherry on top of a slightly-too-sweet, but still delicious, cake. It’s not perfect, and I'm not perfect. I'm probably leaving in 5 years. But, right now, I'm happy. Mostly. (And look, I’m still saving money, and I can use it on something else.) So, if you're looking for something… *real* and you're willing to embrace the glorious chaos that is Manila, then yeah, it's worth checking out. But don’t expect a spa. Expect… an adventure. And free freaking parking.
